You're a haunting reminder of what I cannot have
A compulsive curiosity and fascination.
Strangers always brings me to this state,
A frame of mind constructed on a peripheral vision,
Of something foreign to me.
I create an image of my own preferences,
Which always result in inevitable disappointment.
When will I be able to let go of this trait of mine?
To let things fall into place naturally.
